Laparoscopy is a a popular minimally invasive surgical technique. It involves small incisions in the abdomen, through which a laparoscope—a thin tube with a lens—is inserted to show the internal organs. Surgical instruments are also introduced through these small cuts, allowing the surgeon to perform a number of procedures with enhanced control
